Elder Earle

The Northeastern Conference mourns the loss of Sister Vernelle Earle at age 95 on Friday, March 23, 2018. She served our Conference as an Educator, Administrative Assistant and 18.5 years as First Lady. We express condolences to Pastor George Earle, her husband of 75 years, and their children Reginald and Chrissa as well as the grandchildren. Sister Earle worked tirelessly to annually honor the senior citizens of the conference and zealously raised funds for the rebuilding of the Camp Victory Lake Cafeteria after a fire. To honor her contribution the facility was renamed the George and Vernelle Earle Cafeteria in 2013. We look forward to the resurrection morning.

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our former president, George R. Earle, Sunday, March 25, 2018 at age100. His death comes two days after the death of his wife Vernelle Earle. The couple had been married for 75 years. Elder Earle led the Northeastern Conference as President for 18.5 years before retiring in 1985. His contributions propelled Northeastern Conference to new heights. We pray for his children as they prepare a funeral for both parents.
